Senior Platform Engineer, Interoperability

What you'll do

• Architect and build platform systems that allow application developers to build faster, more reliable software
• Build tools, services, and automation to extend platform capabilities
• Run critical operational portions of ingestion, analytics, and storage infrastructure
• Collaborate with product managers to define strategic solutions
• Evaluate and improve performance, durability, and security of applications in production
• Assist with server-side code and database architecture on the back-end in NodeJS
• Participate in development lifecycle activities: design, coding, testing, and production release
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code in an agile team environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
• 3+ years of experience with NodeJS
• Strong skills in: JavaScript, ES6, Temporal, NodeJS, TypeORM, MySQL, Git, REST principles
• Knowledge of Jest and Redis
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming
• Good understanding of algorithms, network protocols, and web services
• Experience building in AWS
• Self-directed with experience owning complete features/products
• Experience developing real-world web applications
• Agile development experience
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field

Nice to have

• 1+ years experience in NestJS
• Experience with Terraform, ElasticSearch, Snowflake
• Previous startup or scaling experience
• Bilingual in English & Spanish

• Competitive base salary range: $151,000 - $205,300
