Senior Platform Engineer, Interoperability
Lead development of scalable platform systems and infrastructure tools that enable internal and external developers to build faster, more reliable applications. Requires 5+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in Node.js.

What you'll do
- Architect and build platform systems that allow application developers to build faster, more reliable software
- Build tools, services, and automation to extend platform capabilities
- Run critical operational portions of ingestion, analytics, and storage infrastructure
- Collaborate with product managers to define strategic solutions
- Evaluate and improve performance, durability, and security of applications in production
- Assist with server-side code and database architecture on the back-end in NodeJS
- Participate in development lifecycle activities: design, coding, testing, and production release
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code in an agile team environment
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- 3+ years of experience with NodeJS
- Strong skills in: JavaScript, ES6, Temporal, NodeJS, TypeORM, MySQL, Git, REST principles
- Knowledge of Jest and Redis
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming
- Good understanding of algorithms, network protocols, and web services
- Experience building in AWS
- Self-directed with experience owning complete features/products
- Experience developing real-world web applications
- Agile development experience
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
Nice to have
- 1+ years experience in NestJS
- Experience with Terraform, ElasticSearch, Snowflake
- Previous startup or scaling experience
- Bilingual in English & Spanish
