Core Responsibilities
Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE)
- Work side by side with customers to understand toughest issues
- Architect and build solutions leveraging business-critical data and AI
- Drive real-world impact on problems like wildfire risk prediction, global food supply chain optimization
- Work in small, agile teams with end-to-end ownership of high-stakes projects
Software Engineer
- Contribute high-quality code to Palantir Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo
- Build features for research scientists, aerospace engineers, intelligence analysts
- Join small product teams focusing on specific aspects like Foundry front-end or Gotham release infrastructure
What We Require
- Pursuing or received a degree in Engineering (preferably Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science)
- Proficiency with one or more programming languages: Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript
- Hands-on experience applying AI (coursework, projects, internships, extracurriculars)
What We Value
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks
- For USG: Active U.S. security clearance or eligibility/willingness to obtain
