About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive leadership to drive strategic planning, growth, profitability, new product launches, and customer unit economics optimization.
  • Lead financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis for decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Prepare board materials conveying financial performance and metrics.
  • Oversee quarterly/annual budgeting, performance reporting vs. budget, and course corrections.
  • Assess M&A opportunities from inception to execution, including financial diligence.
  • Manage accounting team for accurate financial results.
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital for liquidity.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for financial insights and improvements.
  • Integrate processes with parent company Upbound for efficiencies and public company standards.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience: 10+ years progressive finance experience, 3+ years in leadership managing teams in fintech, financial services, or consumer subscription industries.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, analysis; deep understanding of consumer unit economics (LTV, CAC, paybacks); Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Oracle Fusion (or similar ERP).

Other: Proven strategic planning track record focused on growth/profitability; strong leadership/team management; exceptional communication for complex info; strong analytical/data-driven approach; adaptability in fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Anticipated annual base salary: $200,000 - $250,000 (actual depends on qualifications, experience, skills, education, location). Additional benefits include medical/dental/vision, flexible PTO, 401k, paid parental leave, wellbeing benefits, reimbursements.
