Responsibilities
- Video Ads Tech Lead: Partner with Product and Design to build a roadmap transforming Video Ads into an industry leader, and drive technical design and execution.
- Technical Strategy: Provide guidance on video ads and unique ad formats scaling to millions, establish Android best practices, and conduct design reviews.
- Full-Cycle Leadership: Drive development from discovery, prototyping, testing, experimentation, to deployment.
- Raise the Bar: Mentor senior engineers, establish best practices for design, testing, and operations, advocate for customers.
Requirements
- 8+ years software engineering experience (Staff level).
- Android Mastery: 3+ years Kotlin, modern architectural patterns; 4+ projects from ideation to production.
- Experience in Ad Tech, building interactive/rich-media mobile experiences.
- Product Mindset: Track record delivering user-facing features with UI polish and performance.
- System Design: Build fault-tolerant client-side systems in complex, data-intensive environments.
- AI: Experience with GenAI tools for productivity.
- Experimentation/Analysis: Fluency with product metrics, experiments, tools like BigQuery, HEX, Firebase.
- Versatility across stack, innovative approaches (e.g., AI/ML).
- Entrepreneurial spirit, self-directed, thrives in ambiguity.
- Excellent communication for remote collaboration.
- Experienced technical leader in mentoring.
- Strong organizational skills.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Compensation
Base salary: $217,000 - $303,900 USD, plus equity (RSUs), potential commission, comprehensive benefits.
