About the role

Outcomes

  • Work with multiple clients as the main technical voice for Databricks.
  • Lead customers on a transformational journey, helping them evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their strategy.
  • Implement the technical strategy in accounts with a clear understanding of strategy and business value.
  • Build a movement of technical champions within the account.
  • Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions.
  • Provide structured mentorship for other team members.
  • Gain peers' respect through experience, insight, and contributions.

Competencies

  • Experience establishing virtual teams and leading them to success within the account.
  • Experience working with very large (>$1m ARR), global accounts.
  • Experience building relationships with executives and influencers, both internally and with customers.
  • Present a convincing point of view to important decision-makers that leads them down a path of success.
  • Technical experience in data engineering, cloud data warehousing, and/or data science.
  • Ability in data-driven business transformation and driving change with data.
  • Production programming expertise in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience practicing live/vibe coding sessions with stakeholders.

Nice to have: Databricks Certification.
