About the role

Responsibilities

  • Scale and mature platform to handle entire mortgage market.
  • Work across entire codebase with primary focus on platform scaling.
  • Help set guidelines and frameworks for engineering organization, including technical tooling and organizational growth.

Requirements

  • Deep experience scaling distributed systems with complex data dependencies.
  • Performance engineering experience in: AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL (or similar relational database), Redis, Elasticsearch.
  • Strong proficiency with C# or other statically typed languages such as Kotlin, Go, or Java.
  • Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
  • Comfortable in early-stage startup environment with occasional extra hours for mission-critical work.
