Senior Software Engineer, Partner Platform
Builds and owns backend systems for partner platform including data ingestion pipelines, APIs, webhooks, and event-driven processing to power integrations. Requires 5+ years backend/platform experience, CS degree, and strong fundamentals for driving product initiatives in fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take ownership of key components of partner platform infrastructure, including partner data ingestion and sharing systems, public APIs, external webhook delivery systems, and lead new initiatives leveraging partner-facing interfaces.
- Drive impactful product initiatives aligned with product vision for partner journey, including partner-facing dashboard, developer tooling, data integrations, platform systems for ingestion, APIs, and real-time partner updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to prioritize and design new products and experiments.
- Design and operate asynchronous, event-driven systems to reliably process partner data and deliver real-time updates to partner systems.
What We’re Searching For
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production backend or platform systems.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science (or related field).
- Care deeply about building high-quality software and take immense pride in craft.
- Comfortable owning and driving development of both product and platform initiatives from scratch.
- Take initiative to identify commonalities between problem statements and design appropriate abstractions.
- Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building and operating asynchronous systems or data pipelines in production environments.
- Excited about working on a small team and helping set foundations for the company.
