Current Project Areas
- Designing and operating mock high-assurance research environments under extreme isolation.
- Exploring cryptographic verification of model integrity using zero-knowledge proofs.
- Assessing confidential computing feasibility across model lifecycle.
- Piloting AI-assisted security tooling (vulnerability discovery, automated patching, anomaly detection).
- Prototyping API-only access regimes.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end execution of Security Labs projects: refine hypothesis, design experiment, build prototype, run pilot, write results.
- Build novel security infrastructure (isolated clusters, hardened access controls, cryptographic layers).
- Drive successful experiments to production scale.
- Embed with research teams to stress-test workflows under extreme security controls.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging security technologies with vendors and research groups.
- Produce decision-ready writeups informing security architecture.
- Maintain pain-point registry and feasibility assessments.
- Scope and prioritize next Labs projects.
You May Be a Good Fit If You Have
- 7+ years software or security engineering experience with production systems.
- Experience with pilots, prototypes, or applied research.
- Strong programming in Python and systems language (Go, Rust, or C/C++).
- Hands-on with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, networking.
- Cross-functional execution skills.
- Clear written communication.
- Comfort with ambiguity and iteration.
- Curiosity about nation-state adversary defense.
- Passion for AI safety.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).
Strong Candidates May Also Have
- Offensive security, red teaming, or security research experience.
- Airgapped or high-side environments familiarity.
- Applied cryptography knowledge (zero-knowledge proofs, attestation, secure enclaves, TPMs, confidential computing).
- ML infrastructure experience (training, inference, model packaging).
