QA Engineering Manager
Leads QA engineering team to define test strategies, scale automation, embed quality in CI/CD, and ensure reliable mobile/web fintech products. Requires 3+ years managing QA teams and 5+ years hands-on testing experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow a team of QA engineers, providing mentorship, coaching, and career development support
- Define and drive the quality roadmap in partnership with Engineering, Product, Design, and Data leaders
- Scale and improve automation frameworks and regression/smoke/integration suites
- Embed testing into CI/CD to reduce manual effort and prevent regressions
- Promote operational excellence across the SDLC by setting quality best practices
- Ensure testing covers performance, security, and regulatory/compliance needs
- Hire and onboard QA engineers
- Manage and continuously improve team processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing SDET/QA/Quality Engineering teams of 5+
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation for production systems across mobile and web
- Experience building and operating testing programs for mission-critical products at scale
- Proven track record of leading teams to deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
- Experienced in mentoring future leaders and growing talent
- Familiar with incident management, release readiness, and on-call/production support
- Solid understanding of security, data privacy, and regulatory/compliance requirements in fintech
