Product Manager
Own a module end-to-end in an AI-native insurance brokerage: drive KPIs, encode domain nuance into AI agents, build evals, and prototype rapidly with modern AI tools. 1-3 years PM or operator experience required; onsite in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Own a module end-to-end: customer experience, operator workflows, and AI agents
- Own KPIs (conversion, handle time, accuracy, autonomous resolution rate, retention) — set targets, instrument, and move them
- Encode industry-by-industry and segment-by-segment nuance into rules, prompts, agents, and data structures
- Own the eval regime: regressions on every change, evals mapping to real outcomes, backtests, call-by-call reviews
- Build golden datasets in partnership with data labeling/validation teams
- Own cross-modal experience across web, voice, and human channels; decide modality handoffs
- Sit with operators (sales, service, underwriting) to observe work and identify friction
- Talk to customers daily
- Prototype rapidly using AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable)
- Hyper-prioritize ruthlessly among competing requests
Requirements
- 1–3 years in product OR early-career operator/engineer/AI researcher with demonstrated ownership
- Track record owning a product or system end-to-end (KPIs, roadmap, execution)
- Proficiency using AI tools to prototype (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, or similar)
- Strong analytical instincts; able to argue tradeoffs on AI systems with engineers
- Experience going deep on a domain and encoding learnings into systems
- Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate
Nice-to-Haves
- Background in AI/ML products, voice AI, agent frameworks, or workflow automation
- Experience with eval design, prompt engineering, or context engineering
- Insurance, fintech, or regulated industry experience
- Prior startup experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $125,000–$170,000 + performance bonuses & equity
