People Operations Associate
Manages onboarding, offboarding, recruiting coordination, office operations, and People systems to ensure seamless employee experience and scalable operations in a high-growth startup. Requires 4+ years in fast-paced people-facing roles with strong organization and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Own onboarding and pre-boarding end-to-end by ensuring all logistics, systems, and manager plans are in place, tracking Day 1, Week 1, and 30/90-day milestones, and flagging risks early.
- Run recruiting coordination at a high bar by scheduling interviews, managing candidate experience, and partnering with the Head of People and hiring managers to ensure speed, organization, and strong communication throughout the process.
- Drive offboarding execution by managing separation workflows, documentation, and cross-functional coordination with IT, Finance, and managers.
- Operate and improve People systems by maintaining data accuracy across tools (Gusto, Windmill, etc.), supporting payroll and benefits, and identifying opportunities to streamline workflows.
- Manage the SF office and employee experience by overseeing office operations, vendors, events, and ensuring a high-quality in-office and remote experience.
- Support People analytics and reporting by maintaining dashboards (headcount, attrition, onboarding progress), tracking operational metrics, and contributing to monthly People recaps.
- Lead end-to-end planning of team and company off-sites and create meaningful employee experiences through recognition programs, key milestones, and surprise & delight initiatives.
Requirements

- You are an excellent communicator, regardless of channel (written & verbal) or group (internal or external).
- 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced, people-facing role, preferably within a high-growth or startup environment.
