Operations Associate
Operations Associate reporting to the VP of Operations, responsible for recruiting coordination, SF office management, people operations, and corporate operations at a climate tech startup.
What you’ll tackle
- Drive recruiting coordination: Keep hiring moving by managing interview scheduling, ATS hygiene, candidate communications, and cross-functional coordination across active searches. You'll be the connective tissue between candidates, hiring managers, and the broader People team, making sure every stage of the funnel runs on time and leaves a strong impression.
- Own the SF office experience: Manage vendors, supplies, and the day-to-day details that make our office a place people genuinely want to be. You understand that culture is built in physical spaces as much as anywhere else, and you treat the office like a product worth caring about.
- Power People Operations: Own the mechanics that make the employee lifecycle run: onboarding and offboarding coordination, HRIS data accuracy, benefits administration support, and the day-to-day processes that keep the People team moving. You'll use AI to build reliable, repeatable workflows so nothing slips and no new hire feels dropped.
- Scale Corporate Operations: Partner with Leadership to run and scale Corporate Operations, including All Hands, company offsites, internal communications, and more.
- Support Delivery Operations: As you build context on how Patch's customer-facing operations work, there's potential to take on select workflow support with the Delivery team. This is not the primary focus of the role today, but it's a natural expansion for the right person who wants broader operational exposure.
What makes you a great match
- You have 4+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment, or a master's degree, and you've operated in settings where speed and rigor both matter
- You're highly organized with sharp attention to detail and a consistent track record of following through on execution-heavy work
- You're a resourceful self-starter who identifies what needs to happen and makes it happen without being asked
- You communicate clearly and build trust across functions; you know that getting things done means bringing people with you
- You're energized by variety and comfortable context-switching between strategic projects and hands-on logistics
- You want to be in the office every day, because you understand that an intentional in-person culture is something you help create
- You have a genuine interest in Patch's mission and care about the work we're doing in climate
