Motion Designer, Core Brand
Create high-quality motion graphics and animation that define Anthropic’s brand expression across product, marketing, and research. Develop scalable motion systems and mentor others while partnering with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Create motion work that sets the quality bar and inspires others, including product launches, marketing campaigns, and research releases
- Help shape and evolve our motion design strategy, developing foundational patterns that make our brand recognizable through animation
- Build and document frameworks and standards that help teams implement motion across the organization
- Guide and mentor others in motion design principles and practices, helping them develop brand expertise
- Partner with teams across the company to elevate motion design in their projects while maintaining quality
- Take ownership of emerging motion needs across product, events, and campaigns as the practice grows
Requirements
- 6+ years of motion design experience with an outstanding portfolio showing both craft and systematic thinking
- Create high-quality motion work while building repeatable patterns that others can learn from
- Develop motion design systems and teach others to help scale our brand expression
- Bridge individual execution with strategic thinking about how motion supports our brand
- Thrive in collaboration with teams across the company, including product, engineering, research, and marketing
- Stay current with motion design tools and recommend the right ones for different needs
- Balance creative exploration with practical constraints in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field
