About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms using React Native.
  • Provide guidance on mobile app best practices, coding standards, and new technologies.
  • Review code and offer constructive feedback to peers.
  • Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to align on requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Design frontend deployment pipelines balancing velocity and reliability.
  • Make crucial architectural decisions impacting feature development.
  • Own large surface areas within the product from 0 to 1.
  • Work across the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization through production.
  • Solve problems with pragmatic yet sophisticated solutions.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience building frontend applications used by significant number of users.
  • Proficiency with React Native/Flutter, React, and Next.js.
  • Experience with mobile design patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM, VIPER), modern architecture, and best practices.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
