Marketing Compliance Manager
Reviews marketing materials, disclosures, and customer journeys for compliance with consumer protection laws and partner bank requirements. Collaborates with marketing, product, and legal teams to launch compliant card programs in fintech environment. Requires 4-5 years experience in financial services compliance.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve marketing materials, disclosures, and application flows for compliance with applicable regulations and partner bank requirements.
- Support new card program launches by ensuring required disclosures and regulatory elements are accurately incorporated.
- Partner with marketing, product, design, and operations teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical, customer-friendly guidance.
- Assist in interpreting and applying requirements under Regulation Z, Regulation B, UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, FCRA, and related consumer protection laws.
- Maintain and update marketing compliance policies, procedures, and review checklists.
- Track and document marketing reviews to ensure audit-ready records and clear approval workflows.
- Escalate higher-risk or complex issues to senior compliance leadership with clear analysis and recommendations.
- Support partner bank reviews and respond to compliance-related inquiries as needed.
- Contribute to training and awareness efforts to promote compliant marketing practices across the organization.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in compliance, legal, risk, or a related function within banking, fintech, or financial services.
- Working knowledge of consumer protection and marketing-related regulations (e.g., Regulation Z, Regulation B, UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, FCRA).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to review customer-facing content through a regulatory lens.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide practical, solutions-oriented feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams.

Compensation
- Annual starting salary range of $130,000–$150,000 + equity + benefits.
Compliance Manager
