Responsibilities

  • Review and approve marketing materials, disclosures, and application flows for compliance with applicable regulations and partner bank requirements.
  • Support new card program launches by ensuring required disclosures and regulatory elements are accurately incorporated.
  • Partner with marketing, product, design, and operations teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical, customer-friendly guidance.
  • Assist in interpreting and applying requirements under Regulation Z, Regulation B, UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, FCRA, and related consumer protection laws.
  • Maintain and update marketing compliance policies, procedures, and review checklists.
  • Track and document marketing reviews to ensure audit-ready records and clear approval workflows.
  • Escalate higher-risk or complex issues to senior compliance leadership with clear analysis and recommendations.
  • Support partner bank reviews and respond to compliance-related inquiries as needed.
  • Contribute to training and awareness efforts to promote compliant marketing practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of experience in compliance, legal, risk, or a related function within banking, fintech, or financial services.
  • Working knowledge of consumer protection and marketing-related regulations (e.g., Regulation Z, Regulation B, UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, FCRA).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to review customer-facing content through a regulatory lens.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide practical, solutions-oriented feedback.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams.

  • Experience reviewing marketing materials for credit card or consumer lending products.
  • Exposure to fintech or partner-bank program structures.
  • Interest in consumer finance, loyalty programs, and credit card products.

Compensation

  • Annual starting salary range of $130,000–$150,000 + equity + benefits.
