About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end SDMA clearance process, ensuring all program stages are executed efficiently while implementing scalable and robust processes.
  • Lead a team of Technical Program Managers, providing guidance for multiple concurrent clearance programs, including live service, early milestone, and clearance.
  • Develop and drive program schedules, milestones, and deliverables related to the safety and clearance of autonomous robotaxi.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all clearance-related activities, facilitating communication across cross-functional teams.
  • Define and manage the scope and timeline for clearance activities, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and managing dependencies.
  • Report on program status, risks, and progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in technical program management, with a proven track record of shipping complex, safety-critical systems.
  • Experience managing and leading teams of program managers or technical leads.
  • BS or MS in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of complex hardware and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience in program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262 or other safety-related standards (e.g., IEC 61508, DO-178C).
  • Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering and requirements management.
