Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (product, design, data science, engineering) to architect and advance observability products.
- Drive end-to-end feature development from proof of concept to delivery, ensuring robust observability into system behavior and customer usage.
- Identify opportunities for product and user experience improvements using data insights and feedback, and lead implementation.
- Lead code reviews, spec reviews, and architecture design for best practices, scalability, and maintainability.
- Stay ahead of development trends, experimentation, and data-driven evolution to implement improvements in tools and processes.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production-quality full-stack features.
- Proficiency in TypeScript/React (frontend) and Go (or similar) (backend).
- Experience building data-focused products like experimentation platforms, analytics dashboards, or large-scale data visualizations.
- Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with customers and aligning work to business goals.
- Strong ownership, collaboration with cross-functional partners, clean/testable code, observability/monitoring tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation
Target pay ranges by Geographic Zones for Level 2: Zone 1 ($136,500 - $187,660), Zone 2 ($122,800 - $168,850), Zone 3 ($116,000 - $159,500).
For Level 3: Zone 1 ($171,200 - $235,400), Zone 2 ($154,100 - $211,860), Zone 3 ($145,500 - $200,090).
