About the role
Responsibilities
- Own consolidated financial reporting across domestic and off-shore entities, delivering executive-ready financials within 30-day close.
- Design and implement financial infrastructure, including platform selection, process redesign, and multi-entity systems.
- Build and maintain FP&A function: budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and dashboards.
- Lead monthly and quarterly close process, supervising accounting team.
- Advise COO and CEO on financial strategy, resource allocation, and investments.
- Leverage AI for financial automations using Google AppsScript, AI tools, and API integrations.
Requirements
- 6+ years in finance, with 2-3 years in multi-entity environments (VC-backed or founder-led tech preferred).
- Experience building or rebuilding financial infrastructure, platform selection, process redesign, consolidation workflows.
- Hands-on with QBO/Intuit ecosystem, modern FP&A tools, multi-entity consolidation.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with transfer pricing, international tax (e.g., Taiwan subsidiary), revenue recognition under ASC 606.
- Startup or founder-led company experience.
- Managing or partnering with Big Four advisory firms.
- Ability to write code (with AI help), work with Google AppsScript, financial tools APIs, AI tools for automation.
