About the role
Responsibilities
Own contract administration lifecycle, including reviewing, drafting, and processing contract awards, modifications, CPARS, price justification, and more
Define contractual obligations and deliverables before funds are obligated in collaboration with Business Development, Engineering, and contracting officers; templatize deliverables to ensure teams meet contract requirements
Analyze and respond to complex inquiries about contract obligations and modifications; review terms and conditions; escalate to leadership as needed
Support business development by developing and fostering relationships with government contracting officers and specialists; identify contracting opportunities and support shaping of opportunities and recompetes
Serve as contracts subject matter expert for Business Development team; equip front-line teams with accurate contracting pathway information
Develop and execute tactical plans for contracting pathways suitable for individual sales opportunities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
4+ years’ experience in government contracting required
Strong understanding of the FAR/DFARS, OTAs, the range of RFx, source selection, evaluation criteria, compliance matrices, and standard T&Cs
Experience with firm fixed-price contracts; experience in other contracting types preferred
Strong program/project management skills; ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Impeccable attention to detail
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to generate top-quality contract and pricing content on short timelines
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Current U.S. security clearance, or ability to obtain one with sponsorship
