Responsibilities
- Underwrite institutional counterparties, including hedge funds, asset managers, corporates, market makers, and banking and payment providers.
- Recommend internal credit ratings and risk-based limits with written substantiation.
- Monitor trading and bank partner exposures, conduct periodic portfolio reviews, and flag concentration risks or emerging trends.
- Analyze asset volatility and liquidity risks on a per-asset and portfolio basis to support lending and trading product decisions.
- Collaborate with product, sales, operations, and legal teams to resolve client or product challenges and deliver risk-informed solutions.
- Research industry trends, regulatory developments, and crypto market dynamics to support thought leadership and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline, with expected graduation in December 2026 or later.
- Demonstrated interest in financial and capital markets, including coursework or projects involving credit analysis, financial statement interpretation, or portfolio risk concepts.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for quantitative analysis, modeling, scenario analysis, or data summarization.
- Familiarity with the crypto economy or digital assets, or the ability to quickly learn new financial product domains.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight and delivering business-ready outputs.
