About the role
What You’ll Do
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS/license agreements, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), reseller & channel partner agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), vendor/supplier/procurement agreements (IT, services, cloud infrastructure, professional services, etc.), and (nice to have) Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and privacy/security addenda.
Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales, Partner/Channel, Procurement, IT, Security, and Finance on contract terms, risks, and negotiation strategy.
Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice that accelerates deal cycles while protecting company interests.
Improve templates, playbooks, and contracting processes to drive scalability and efficiency.
Support contract lifecycle management practices, approvals, and ongoing obligations tracking.
Collaborate with Security and Privacy teams on data protection and regulatory compliance as needed.
What We’re Looking For
J.D. (or equivalent) and active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
2-6+ years of commercial legal experience, with significant in-house or tech/SaaS focus.
Strong track record negotiating SaaS license agreements, SLAs, reseller/partner agreements, NDAs, and vendor/procurement contracts.
Excellent drafting skills, business judgment, and ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance.
Self-starter comfortable working remotely, managing multiple priorities, and partnering cross-functionally.
Nice to Have
Experience negotiating DPAs, privacy/security addenda, or working with regulated industries.
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools.
Background in cybersecurity, SaaS, or other data-sensitive technology environments.
Oversees marketing compliance reviews for investment products, ensuring adherence to SEC and FINRA regulations. Manages a small team, marketing review tools including AI, vendor reviews, and compliance programs while partnering with marketing.
