EIAM Business Enablement & Operations Intern
The intern will support identity and access security through access-review dashboards, group analysis, documentation, and RBAC implementation. The role requires Google Sheets proficiency, strong communication, analytical thinking, and an ability to work in Cloudflare’s Austin office three to five days weekly.

Responsibilities
- Execute a specialized security project over a minimum 12-week internship that improves Cloudflare’s defensive posture.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a user access review dashboard and associated metrics.
- Analyze groups to determine and document organizational group descriptions and ownership mandates.
- Provide analytical support for implementing and strategically applying Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Work cross-functionally with Legal, People, Engineering, and Finance teams to integrate security practices.
- Collaborate with a mentor for hands-on guidance in the assigned security domain.
- Present the completed security project to the company at the end of the internship.
- Write for the Cloudflare blog and participate in Cloudflare.tv sessions.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Google Sheets, including filtering, sorting, VLOOKUP, and basic data manipulation.
- Understanding of roles, groups, permissions, and the principle of least privilege.
- Ability to use Google Docs and wikis to create clear, organized process, role, and review-evidence documentation.
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with application owners and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated critical-thinking skills and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Curiosity, empathy, and ability to execute effectively.
- Ability to commit to a minimum 12-week internship.
- Ability to work in the Austin office 3–5 days per week.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with SQL, particularly for querying access logs or user tables to support metrics and dashboards.
- Passion for security and software development, demonstrated through personal projects, open-source contributions, or experience with Cloudflare’s developer platform.
