Software Engineer II - React Native

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Own end-to-end delivery of Krak features, from technical design through release and post-launch iteration.
• Build maintainable, performant, and resilient screens and components using established architecture and design patterns.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, raising clear proposals and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Rust backend engineers to deliver customer value.
• Improve code quality, shared components, and tooling across the Krak mobile codebase.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience focused on web or mobile applications.
• Solid JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge and hands-on React Native experience.
• Experience integrating and consuming APIs, with attention to mobile security and performance.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks and modern frontend build pipelines and tooling.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Native iOS or Android development experience.
• React Native micro-interactions and animations.
• Next.js and WebSockets.
• Experience at a large technology organization or fast-growing startup.
• Consumer payments, crypto, or fintech mobile application experience.
• Rust or similar languages such as Go or C++.
• Async architectures, APIs, and microservices.
• Large-scale consumer or financial product experience.
• Open-source or broader engineering community contributions.
