Engineering Manager
Hands-on Engineering Manager leading software engineering teams to build and operate scalable scheduling products. Requires 2+ years managing engineers, 5+ years development experience with TypeScript/Node.js/React, strong technical judgment, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead agile ceremonies to help your team plan out their work and get it done.
- Coach, mentor, and onboard new engineering team members.
- Identify future technical needs and create plans to meet them.
- Provide feedback and guidance to help continuously grow and scale.
- Hire engineers to build out both new and existing squads, with oversight on all team members hired onto the squad.
- Work on products and services aimed at simplifying scheduling for millions of users.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience managing a team of Software Engineers.
- 5+ years of overall development experience, ideally using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Deep proficiency with distributed / data-oriented application development and SaaS.
- Experience planning and leading development efforts on large projects.
- Previous experience leading and mentoring teams and driving them toward big goals with consistent execution.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to succinctly explain deep technical concepts.
- Experience leading Agile / Scrum ceremonies.
- Availability for participation in on-call rotation.

Compensation
Tier 1 Salary Hiring Range: $232,626—$281,888 USD
Tier 2 Salary Hiring Range: $213,241—$258,398 USD
Tier 3 Salary Hiring Range: $193,855—$234,907 USD
