Engineering Manager, Adoption and Value Realization
Lead the Adoption and Value Realization engineering team to drive user engagement and value realization through notifications, experimentation, and engagement tooling. Requires 5+ years software engineering and 3+ years technical engineering management experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with teams throughout the org and directly deliver product experiences that drive measurable increases in engagement and value realization, in close cross-functional partnership
- Partner closely with Product to define, instrument, and improve engagement funnels and feedback loops
- Build systems that enable intelligent notifications, get high-impact insights to our users, and help managers enable their team on the platform
- Lead experimentation and iteration cycles (A/B testing, behavioral insights, activation flows) to continuously improve user engagement and sales outcomes
- Be a strong voice for technical excellence, a passionate advocate for thoughtful software design, and a mentor and coach who inspires engineers to grow
- Drive initiatives across our engineering team to build and reinforce our culture of expansive ownership, individual autonomy, and constant learning through curiosity
- Contribute meaningfully to the growth of each engineer individually and to the team’s overall operating capability
- Facilitate collaboration with other teams to deliver the best solution for the customer regardless of internal lines of ownership
- Take a leadership role throughout the engineering organization, including in our hiring and onboarding processes
- Build using agentic tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc) and push the boundaries of what is possible with agentic development
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a professional software engineer
- 3+ years of experience as a deeply-technical engineering manager
- Experience leading complex technical projects
- Proven track record of architecting, building, and delivering software
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Experience working on growth, adoption, activation, or engagement-focused product teams
- Comfort operating in metrics-driven environments with clear ownership over behavioral and usage outcomes
- Strong product instincts and ability to translate ambiguous engagement and value measurement challenges into concrete engineering strategy
- Must have an eligible work permit in the USA
