Responsibilities
Contract Administration & Legal Operations
- Support the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including intake, routing, tracking, execution, and filing of commercial agreements.
- Organize and manage Legal team knowledge bases, templates, and playbooks.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for the Legal & Compliance team.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
Legal Technology & AI Enablement
- Support implementation, configuration, and daily operation of legal technology tools, including redlining, repository, e-signature, and intake platforms.
- Use AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, and similar large language models to automate contract data extraction, clause comparison, template population, and workflow routing.
- Map and document legal workflows, identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort and enable AI-driven automation.
- Assist with prompt engineering, testing, and iteration for AI-assisted legal processes.
- Design and build lightweight AI workflows for legal-team use.
- Create documentation for tools, AI workflows, and processes.
- Monitor emerging legal technology trends and propose relevant ideas.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Law, Legal Technology, Information Systems, Business Law, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and structured-thinking skills.
- Genuine interest in AI, legal technology, legal engineering, and practical LLM applications.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar, including basic prompt design and iterative testing.
- Ability to document and diagram workflows using process maps, logic flows, and checklists.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfort with ambiguity and unfamiliar problems.
- High discretion, professionalism, and ethical standards when handling sensitive information.
- Business fluency in English.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience or curiosity involving contract lifecycle management systems such as Ironclad, Conga, DocuSign CLM, or Juro.
- Experience with e-signature tools or legal intake platforms.
- Basic familiarity with structured data, including spreadsheets, JSON, and CSV.
- Prior exposure to contract administration, legal operations, or legal technology through coursework, internships, clinics, or projects.
- Knowledge of contract management or legal operations processes.
- Demonstrable AI/LLM projects, coursework, or self-directed learning in legal or professional-services contexts.
- German language skills.
