Data Analyst Intern
Analyzes bikeshare operations and performance data, develops reporting frameworks and dashboards, and presents actionable insights to cross-functional partners and leadership. Requires SQL proficiency, quantitative analysis, strong problem-solving skills, and current enrollment in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s program.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Data Science & Analytics, Product, Finance, and other stakeholders to manage and update key business logic.
- Develop frameworks and scalable processes to streamline reporting and support decision-making and prioritization.
- Define metrics for measuring strategic initiatives and system health; build dashboards to monitor performance over time.
- Deliver data quickly, reliably, and accurately to city partners.
- Monitor and diagnose KPI performance and present findings to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in mathematical sciences, economics, data engineering, or a related field, with graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Available for a Summer 2027 internship in New York City.
- Proficient in SQL and quantitative analysis, including analysis of large datasets.
- Able to translate unstructured business problems into clearly defined requirements with minimal oversight.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, attention-to-detail, and structured-thinking skills.
- Experience developing processes that reduce human error.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay: $45-$47/hour USD.
