Responsibilities
- Maintain the availability of cloud and physical Kubernetes servers powering the Palantir platform in air-gapped production environments.
- Design, deploy, and operate infrastructure supporting customer and product requirements using modern orchestration and monitoring platforms.
- Collaborate with product teams on requirements and service-level objectives for deploying software into air-gapped environments.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and systems issues.
- Automate routine operational tasks through scripting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing medium- to large-scale systems.
- Active clearance or the ability to obtain active clearance in the country where the job is advertised.
- Availability for 20–40% travel.
- Availability to work in-office/on-site at the Warsaw location five days per week.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teams across a wide geography.
- High level of independence and resilience, with the ability to work with limited oversight and guidance.
- Ability to support customers and advise on hardware purchases, capacity planning, firewalls, and related infrastructure needs.
- Understanding of database systems and their management, such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of Kubernetes, Cassandra, Hadoop, and distributed systems.
- Experience with server hardware such as Dell and HP, network engineering, and production data-center environments.
- Practical experience with Linux, Linux administration, troubleshooting, and related tools such as Logical Volume Manager (LVM) commands.
