Platform Engineer
Build and operate Tempo’s blockchain infrastructure, improving reliability, developer velocity, observability, and enterprise validator onboarding. The role requires production experience with bare-metal and cloud systems, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, scripting, Linux, and networking.

Responsibilities
- Implement and manage infrastructure that enables the engineering team to ship quickly and effectively.
- Identify and eliminate DevOps bottlenecks to improve developer velocity.
- Maintain Tempo chain reliability, validator infrastructure, explorer reliability, and related systems.
- Improve the core developer experience.
- Onboard enterprise customers into crypto and educate them on running validators.
- Work on crypto performance infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience maintaining and scaling bare-metal servers and cloud environments for production systems.
- Proficiency building tooling and scripts with Rust, Go, or Python.
- Deep expertise deploying Kubernetes in production environments.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Argo CD.
- Experience deploying monitoring, alerting, and observability systems such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Ability to secure and harden systems and troubleshoot issues with engineers.
- Knowledge of Linux and networking, including Linux system troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, organization, curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to work hands-on.
