Commercial Operations & Strategy Manager
Drives sales operations and strategy by defining initiatives, analyzing data for revenue growth, supporting sales teams with planning and optimization, and collaborating cross-functionally. Requires 5+ years in analytical/operational roles with tools like Snowflake, Salesforce, and Looker.
Responsibilities
- Defining business and sales team initiatives along with success outcomes/KPIs; building visibility into them and driving insights alongside sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Analyzing business and sales data to drive decision-making around increasing revenue generated by sales teams, sales opportunity prioritization, sales team scaling, etc.
- Supporting sales teams via planning, target-setting, compensation, plan design and execution, policy design and implementation, process optimization, etc.
- Problem-solving with individuals at all levels (including executives) across a broad range of departments (e.g., Sales, Finance, Product, Business Operations, BI, Data Science, etc.)
- Skillfully tailor and articulate clear, compelling messages for diverse stakeholders, adeptly synthesizing complex processes and technical language into actionable next steps
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in roles with both analytical and operational responsibilities with a business/revenue/sales operational role
- Experience tracking and synthesizing performance of teams and initiatives to help inform broader company strategy
- Utilized tools such as Snowflake, Google Suite, Salesforce, and Looker to track, report, and visualize key metrics for sales teams
- Experience standardizing reporting processes to make them repeatable and scalable
- The ability to research, design, and execute incentive plans around company initiatives
- A well-equipped influencing toolkit that is effective across a diverse range of stakeholders
- The willingness to roll up your sleeves and be resourceful to solve ambiguous challenges
- Resourcefulness, nimbleness, and the ability to stay positive under pressure
- Comfort with taking initiative in a constantly-changing work environment
- Experience or proficiency in Excel, Snowflake/SQL, Looker, and Salesforce required
