Responsibilities
- Contribute to ideation, design, implementation, and evaluation of breakthrough machine learning models for real-world deployment.
- Work across the full lifecycle of machine learning models, including performance optimization, evaluation protocol development, and efficient training and inference.
- Develop novel architectures, training methods, algorithms, and models.
- Help ensure research code supports rapid development and testing of new ideas.
Requirements
- Strong familiarity with the full machine learning research cycle.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Strong knowledge of Python and machine learning frameworks.
- Experience with the full lifecycle of AI model development.
- Experience with machine learning infrastructure frameworks and tools.
- Experience developing new machine learning methods, algorithms, and models.
- Experience with GPUs or TPUs and distributed training.
- Experience scaling models and training regimes.
- Knowledge of classical machine learning methods and algorithms.
- Knowledge of deep learning techniques.
Nice to Have
- Expertise in architecture research, distillation/model compression, evaluation, code generation, or large language models.
- Experience with foundational models, such as LLMs.
- Published research at AI conferences.
- Contributions to open-source machine learning projects.
- Experience working with tabular data or predictive analytics.
- High Kaggle rank.
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in computer science or machine learning.
