About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end UX design and rapid prototyping for new product initiatives, from concept through implementation-ready design.
  • Build interactive, near-production-quality prototypes using React, TypeScript, or similar frameworks to validate ideas before full engineering investment.
  • Partner with Engineering to validate technical feasibility early and reduce handoff friction.
  • Help establish and evolve reusable UI patterns, components, and Reality Defender's broader design system.
  • Advocate for usability, accessibility, and thoughtful interaction design across the platform.
  • Work alongside Product Managers to define customer experiences before development begins.
  • Facilitate cross-team alignment by making complex ideas tangible through prototypes and visual storytelling.

Requirements

  • 5+ years designing and building modern SaaS applications.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX design and front-end implementation.
  • Expertise with Figma and modern prototyping tools.
  • Experience building interfaces using React, TypeScript, or similar front-end frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of interaction design, usability, and accessibility.
  • Ability to rapidly move from concept to prototype.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, and comfort in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Enterprise software design experience.
  • AI or cybersecurity product experience.
  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
  • User research/usability testing experience.
  • Motion/interaction animation experience.
