Incident Response Security Engineer
This role develops detection, incident-response processes, automation, and security tooling for large-scale cloud products and services. Candidates should have hands-on incident response and product security experience, cloud expertise, and strong development skills in Golang or Python.

Responsibilities
- Develop processes, tooling, and automation to scale incident management and response and mitigate business risks.
- Collaborate with security, engineering, product, support, and business operations teams to identify detection use cases and automation opportunities.
- Apply threat-modeling principles to incident detection and response.
- Maintain the security logging platform.
- Monitor emerging threats and attack vectors to improve detection mechanisms and attack surface management.
- Handle information security events and incidents across products and services.
Requirements
- Experience in product security, red teaming, penetration testing, or threat modeling combined with incident detection and response experience.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with one or more cloud service providers, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience securing large-scale, customer-facing cloud infrastructure.
- Significant development and automation experience, preferably with Golang and Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in computer science or a related field.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Security or cloud-related certifications, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure certifications.
