Senior SDET
Senior SDET responsible for building scalable automation and quality strategies for AI-powered contact center systems. The role covers UI, API, database, capacity, security, and performance testing, with approximately six or more years of software development experience required.

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement functional, regression, and end-to-end tests at the UI, API, and database levels.
- Develop, execute, and analyze capacity test runs for microservices and performance tests for key product scenarios.
- Own the test strategy for AI Contact Center systems, including AI Routing, Digital Agent workflows, and Agentic Analytics.
- Use agentic coding tools to generate test cases and build test software.
- Provide detailed failure analysis to accelerate product and test fixes.
- Define relevant KPIs and communicate results across teams and business stakeholders.
- Participate in design discussions and reviews, addressing edge cases and adding test hooks before development begins.
- Write reliable, maintainable code and develop creative, scalable solutions to complex problems.
- Mentor engineers and promote software development and testing best practices.
Requirements
- Typically 6+ years of relevant software development experience, preferably including test automation frameworks for SaaS applications.
- Strong programming expertise in Python or Java.
- Experience designing and building scalable test automation frameworks.
- Extensive use of AI coding agents for test generation and optimization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate cross-functionally with teams in different geographies.
- Experience with functional, integration, load, and performance testing methodologies.
- Deep familiarity with cloud technologies and testing REST services.
- Experience integrating tests into CI pipelines.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AI-driven evaluation methodologies or eval harnesses for non-deterministic systems.
- Experience validating enterprise-scale data infrastructure.

Compensation
- Ontario target base salary: CAD 135,500–158,000 annually.
