Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical architecture for high-impact AI platform initiatives from design through production.
- Lead cross-functional pods of engineers across product, infrastructure, and platform organizations.
- Build scalable agent infrastructure that automates repetitive, high-frequency workflows.
- Design observable, self-correcting systems that improve over time with minimal human intervention.
- Develop harness and platform capabilities that encode business logic and institutional knowledge into reliable automated workflows.
- Partner with Product to make AI-powered surfaces trustworthy, controllable, and intuitive.
- Mentor engineers, establish AI platform development best practices, and raise the technical bar.
- Track advances in AI models and translate them into architectural decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership and organization-wide impact.
- Deep expertise in platform and distributed systems engineering, including reliable, observable, large-scale systems.
- Strong hands-on coding skills and active contribution to the codebase.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional technical initiatives across multiple teams.
- Strong product judgment and ability to turn ambiguous problems into durable platform capabilities.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, high-velocity environments.
