About the role
Responsibilities
Own technical onboarding and lifecycle experience for clients, from initial integration through ongoing scale.
Serve as the bridge between Bastion's product/engineering teams and client engineering teams.
Run non-enterprise client onboardings end-to-end (KYB, sandbox setup, technical walkthroughs, path to first live transaction) with zero engineering involvement.
Build and own proactive client communication systems for API changes, documentation updates, product releases, and migration guides.
Audit and improve technical documentation and client-facing materials to reduce support tickets.
Partner with compliance, commercial, product, and engineering teams to streamline processes.
Support pre-sale technical evaluations, including deep-dives and architecture questions.
Identify patterns in client integration issues and provide data-backed recommendations to product team.
Build lightweight automation, internal dashboards, and self-service resources using internal tools.
Manage a growing portfolio of mid-market and enterprise client relationships.
Diagnose and resolve technical integration issues, escalating when necessary.
Help define the long-term shape of the Technical Account Manager function as client volume grows.
Requirements
SQL-savvy and comfortable with APIs.
Able to fix confusing documentation directly.
Capable of building lightweight automation with internal tools.
Technical enough to diagnose integration issues and speak credibly with engineering teams.
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where work evolves quickly.
Ability to take ownership and become fully productive within the first 3 months.
