About the role

Role Scope

  • Lead the network engineering team: hiring, growth, priorities, and delivery across design and operations.
  • Own the network roadmap from fabric generations to backbone expansion, sequenced to the build plan.
  • Run the operating rhythm between design, deployment, and production so the network org moves as one.
  • Build the team ahead of demand: 10GW of network needs engineers the market barely produces.

Responsibilities

  • Lead network engineering team through rapid scale, including hiring network engineers in a competitive market.
  • Balance roadmap work and operations.
  • Enable engineers to ship faster through effective team leadership.
  • Own network fabrics for 100k+ accelerator clusters, backbones between gigawatt campuses.
  • Deliver full site networks in days using automated designs, ZTP, and machine validation.

Requirements

  • Experience leading network engineering organizations through rapid scale.
  • Proven ability to hire network engineers in a high-demand market.
  • Ability to balance roadmap priorities and operational demands.
  • Track record of leading teams that deliver faster due to leadership practices.
