Network Deployment People Lead

Role Scope

Lead the network deployment workforce: hire, grow, and run the engineers and technicians turning up fabrics site after site. Own team allocation across concurrent sites so every turn-up is staffed for its window. Build the onboarding pipeline that takes a network technician to hyperscale turn-up quality in days. Own on-call, travel rotation, and team health for a workforce that lives where the builds are.

Responsibilities

• Hire, grow, and manage network deployment engineers and technicians.
• Allocate team across multiple concurrent deployment sites.
• Develop and own onboarding programs to make new hires productive in days.
• Manage on-call, travel rotations, and overall team health.
• Deploy fabrics at hyperscale across multiple sites simultaneously.
• Contribute to tooling and processes that enable software-driven deployments at 10GW scale.

Requirements

• Experience managing network deployment or field engineering teams at scale.
• Proven ability to staff concurrent projects from a shared team without burnout.
• Experience building onboarding programs that enable new hires to become productive quickly.
• Track record of retaining talent, with team members following to new companies.
