About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes for revenue, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and timely financial reporting.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Legal teams to determine proper revenue accounting treatment and operationalize transaction flows for new product launches before they go live.
  • Build and scale revenue accounting processes, internal controls, and SOX-compliant frameworks to keep pace with Coinbase's growth.
  • Drive improvements to revenue systems and automation by leveraging blockchain data and modern tooling to increase accuracy and reduce manual effort.
  • Strengthen the Revenue team through hands-on mentorship, cross-departmental collaboration, and development of junior team members.
  • Support SEC reporting, board and senior management reporting by delivering monthly management reports, analytical reviews, and ad hoc financial analyses that inform leadership decisions.
