About the role
Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day facilities maintenance and repairs across office, lab, and production areas
Troubleshoot and fix issues with building systems, equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure
Handle small construction and install projects (furniture, shelving, basic electrical/mechanical work, cabling, etc.)
Support lab and R&D teams with equipment moves, setups, and facility needs
Coordinate and escort vendors and contractors when specialized work is required
Spot problems early and fix or escalate them before they become bigger issues
Help keep facilities safe, organized, and operational
Pitch in on one-off projects and urgent fixes as they come up
Requirements
~3+ years of hands-on facilities, maintenance, or technical trade experience
Comfortable with general maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building systems
Experience with preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Able to work independently and figure things out without heavy oversight
Practical problem-solver with a "get it done" mindset
Organized and reliable — you follow through and close loops
Comfortable working in an active lab or light industrial environment
Willing to occasionally work off-hours if something urgent comes up
Familiar with basic safety practices and facility compliance requirements
Nice to Have
Trade certification or technical training
Experience in semiconductor, hardware, lab, or manufacturing environments
