About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day facilities maintenance and repairs across office, lab, and production areas
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues with building systems, equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure
  • Handle small construction and install projects (furniture, shelving, basic electrical/mechanical work, cabling, etc.)
  • Support lab and R&D teams with equipment moves, setups, and facility needs
  • Coordinate and escort vendors and contractors when specialized work is required
  • Spot problems early and fix or escalate them before they become bigger issues
  • Help keep facilities safe, organized, and operational
  • Pitch in on one-off projects and urgent fixes as they come up

Requirements

  • ~3+ years of hands-on facilities, maintenance, or technical trade experience
  • Comfortable with general maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building systems
  • Experience with preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Able to work independently and figure things out without heavy oversight
  • Practical problem-solver with a "get it done" mindset
  • Organized and reliable — you follow through and close loops
  • Comfortable working in an active lab or light industrial environment
  • Willing to occasionally work off-hours if something urgent comes up
  • Familiar with basic safety practices and facility compliance requirements

Nice to Have

  • Trade certification or technical training
  • Experience in semiconductor, hardware, lab, or manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting fast-growing or startup teams
  • Experience working with HVAC, MEP systems, or process equipment

Compensation

  • Annual salary range: $105,000 – $125,000
  • Total compensation includes generous equity
