Accountant
Accountant handles G/L reconciliations, month-end close, AP/AR, payroll, tax, and audits for a scaling SaaS company. Requires bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years experience, SaaS background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform critical accounting functions such as recording, reconciling, and analyzing G/L account transactions.
- Assist in month-end close journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis (e.g., accrued expenses, fixed assets, prepaids, deferred revenues, payroll, intercompany).
- Review customer contracts for accurate billing and revenue.
- Assist with Accounts Payable: review, code, and process vendor invoices.
- Review compensation and commissions for accuracy.
- Cross-train with other accountants as backup.
- Assist with tax filings and audits, including PBC requests.
- Complete ad hoc projects (e.g., documentation, system implementations).
- Build cross-functional relationships.
- Learn all types of accounting operations for a medium-sized startup.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Experience in GL, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax, and payroll.
- SaaS industry experience preferred.
- Understanding of financial statement audits.
- QuickBooks and SaaSOptics/Maxio experience a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership.
Senior Accounting Associate
Supports month-end close, regulatory reporting, and daily reconciliations for a regulated financial services business. Requires 3-5 years of accounting experience, active or pursuing CPA, and U.S. GAAP knowledge.
FP&A Analyst
