Senior Counsel, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements supporting AI infrastructure delivery.
• Advise on data center development and leasing, energy, supply chain, and procurement matters.
• Partner cross-functionally to drive transactions to completion.
• Serve as a trusted legal and strategic advisor to business leaders.
• Exercise sound judgment in ambiguous, high-stakes situations and address complex legal and business issues.
• Manage outside counsel across substantive disciplines with rigor and efficiency.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree or international equivalent.
• Active license to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction, with the ability to meet admission requirements as needed.
• 8–12 years of sophisticated experience as a practicing attorney.
• Experience with data center development, leasing, energy, supply chain, and procurement.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements with sophisticated counterparties autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to earn the trust of business partners as a go-to legal and business advisor.

Nice-to-Haves

• A mix of law firm and in-house experience.
• In-house experience at a data center developer or cloud company.
• Private practice experience in real estate or energy.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve legal work product and efficiency.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $350,000–$500,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
