Responsibilities
- Build scalable, reliable, and flexible applications in TypeScript using Node.js and Angular
- Design, implement, and/or use RESTful web services
- Implement modern, responsive web UIs for a variety of devices
- Participate in Agile software development, prototyping, testing, and code reviews with a small development team
- Write robust unit and end-to-end tests
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field; equivalent work experience may substitute
- 3+ years of TypeScript/JavaScript experience
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, clear communication, and technical writing skills
- Familiarity with Agile environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Node.js
- Angular 19+
- NoSQL databases, including MongoDB
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Git and other version control systems
- Unit and end-to-end testing frameworks
- Generative AI technologies such as CursorAI, Cline, or Windsurf
- Experience building visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces
Compensation
- Base salary: $120,000–$160,000 USD annually
