About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own a product portfolio area end-to-end, from discovery through shipping and scaling, aligned with company goals around AI utility, AI-agent communications infrastructure, and faster time to value for AI workflows.
  • Translate technically complex subject matter into clear business value and product bets.
  • Partner with Marketing to shape go-to-market strategy, developer-facing positioning, launch narratives, and post-launch execution.
  • Understand how developers build AI-powered applications, including their needs, challenges, and infrastructure decisions.
  • Lead discovery with developer communities and enterprise partners through closed betas, feedback loops, and continuous validation.
  • Own documentation and the product launch lifecycle.
  • Act quickly on low-risk problems while applying sound judgment to higher-risk decisions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience working on technical products.
  • Background in software engineering, technical product development, or demonstrated builder experience.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on requirements, trade-offs, and technical risks.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and incomplete information.
  • Problem-led approach focused on clearly identifying user problems and measurable outcomes.
  • Familiarity with AI software development and concepts including LLMs, agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and embeddings.
  • Strong developer empathy and understanding of build-versus-buy decisions and third-party infrastructure integration.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience shipping AI-powered features, workflows, or developer tools.
  • Experience taking products from 0 to 1 professionally or personally.
  • Experience with APIs, developer platforms, or infrastructure products.
  • Experience operationalizing AI-based features or building professional pipelines.
  • Experience with tools such as Claude Code or Codex.

Compensation

  • Estimated base salary range: $120,000–$160,000 CAD.
  • Actual compensation depends on qualifications, knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities.
