Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage platforms and solutions to minimize financial and regulatory risk while maintaining excellent user experience.
• Transform business challenges into scalable and effective engineering solutions.
• Partner with diverse stakeholders, including engineering, product, policy, legal, operations, and data science teams.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues across various services and throughout the technology stack.
• Enhance engineering standards, improve tooling, and optimize processes.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and swiftly mitigate emerging risk patterns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, followed by 2 years of Software Engineering experience.
• 2 years of experience developing software solutions using Python, Java, or Ruby.
• 2 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable systems.
• 2 years of experience translating business requirements into tangible software requirements and system designs.
• 2 years of experience identifying and resolving production issues spanning multiple services and stack layers.
• 2 years of experience performing data-driven investigations and analysis to inform decision-making using SQL and visualization software.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $156,800–$235,200 per year.
• 40 hours per week.
• 50% telecommuting permitted.
