About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap that makes Blacksmith enterprise-ready across product lines (CI, sandboxes, and coding agent). Operate like a GM for the enterprise segment: own outcomes across product lines and collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Define and drive security, auditability, and compliance surface: audit logging and SIEM integrations, certifications, and trust documentation for enterprise security reviews.
  • Shape enterprise networking story: static egress identity, egress policy controls, private connectivity, and tenant isolation, in partnership with engineering teams.
  • Own enterprise identity and administration: SSO, roles and permissions, org management, and least-privilege integration models.
  • Build programmatic surface for enterprises: usage and cost APIs, cost attribution, and integrations into observability and cost-management tools.
  • Sit in on enterprise deals with sales; turn procurement blockers, security questionnaires, and POC feedback into prioritized roadmap.
  • Own packaging and pricing for the enterprise tier with GTM.

Requirements

  • Strong taste in what not to build; focus on delight, simplicity, and avoiding product bloat from enterprise roadmaps.
  • Shipped enterprise capabilities (SSO/RBAC/audit-log/security-review) at a growth-stage infrastructure or developer-tools company.
  • Experience maturing a post-PMF product, making the core product undeniable for biggest customers.
  • Technical enough to earn trust with infrastructure engineers and technical buyers; understand CI/CD, cloud networking, and compute platforms.
  • Experience selling to or working closely with enterprise buyers (VP Eng, Head of Platform, CISO); understand procurement cycles, security reviews, and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
  • AI-native workflow: use Claude/Cursor-style tools daily, comfortable with MCP and CLI-based tooling, automate PM tasks.
  • Customer-first approach; enjoy being the voice of the customer internally.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in infrastructure or developer tools.
  • Experience with AI tools in daily workflow.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base + equity (base range $200,000 - $240,000).
  • Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance.
  • 401k match.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Annual offsite.
  • Early-exercise stock options.
  • 12 weeks fully paid parental leave (US).
