Facilitates institutional cryptocurrency OTC trades, manages hedging and principal-trading risk, and improves pricing, execution, and automation. Requires up to three years of crypto OTC trading experience, strong market-microstructure expertise, client-facing ability, and Python proficiency.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate hedging for client flows while managing risk exposure within established risk-appetite constraints.
- Execute complex OTC cryptocurrency trades and optimize execution to improve desk revenue.
- Manage principal-trading exposure infrastructure and processes, including quantitative pricing and risk models.
- Lead automation of hedge execution and help traders focus on complex trades, projects, and client engagement.
- Support risk-control design for aggregate market exposure, including data buildout and guardrail establishment.
- Monitor market narratives, prices, and liquidity to inform research, execution strategies, client interactions, and product development.
- Respond promptly to changing exposures and client requests during coverage, including weekend and off-hours rotations.
- Contribute to trading technology roadmaps and improvements, share knowledge across stakeholder teams, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Up to 3 years of experience as an OTC trader in cryptocurrency markets.
- Expert ability to handle complex trades with continuous execution optimization.
- Deep knowledge of crypto market microstructure, cross-market basis opportunities, derivatives hedging, beta hedging, away positioning, and market drivers.
- Expert knowledge of electronic and voice trading.
- Strong client-facing and institutional business-development skills, including converting prospects into trading clients.
- Proficient Python coding ability.
- Availability for weekend and off-hours coverage rotations.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong awareness of crypto-market narratives and coin-specific drivers.
- Ability to use market research and social-media insights to deepen client engagement and execution strategies.
