Firmware Engineer
Develop firmware, libraries, and integrations for Yubico’s hardware security products. The role requires at least three years of constrained-microprocessor software experience, strong C skills, and familiarity with cryptography, Linux, Git, and Python.

Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and test new firmware features for Yubico products, including the YubiKey and YubiHSM.
- Write libraries and utilities that expose new features to higher-level applications.
- Develop integrations with existing systems so they can take advantage of Yubico products.
Requirements
- Experience with cryptography and security, such as smart cards, PKCS#11, common encryption schemes, and cryptographic libraries.
- 3+ years of experience writing software for microprocessors with constrained resources.
- High proficiency in C.
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, ideally via the command line, and Python or similar high-level languages.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, take initiative, and listen to others.
- Experience integrating or building open-source software and participating in the open-source community.
