About the role

Responsibilities

  • Designing, writing, testing, reviewing, maintaining, deploying and supporting well-engineered VueJS frontend and Django-Python backend software.
  • Integrating with, and maintaining existing applications in VueJS and Django-Python.
  • Improving test coverage and maintaining high test-coverage across apps.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts (in Figma) into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with application developers, devops engineers, QA, and data scientists to enhance the internal web and data platform.
  • Work with devops and data science teams to integrate data pipelines and models into products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • 2-3 years experience in application development and deployment.
  • Proven expertise with VueJS and Django-Python.
  • Proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL is a plus).
  • Experience with caching frameworks (like Redis) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of AWS and REST APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, openness to feedback and a growth mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and team player mindset.
  • Professional experience working in the finance industry is a plus.
  • Background in handling information extraction and retrieval tasks from financial industry-related documents is a plus.

Compensation

  • Salary range: $110,000 - $120,000 plus an annual bonus.
