About the role
Responsibilities
Own and coordinate construction and install projects from ideation to delivery and operation (furniture, shelving, process piping, electrical/mechanical work, cabling, etc.)
Perform and coordinate day-to-day facilities maintenance and repairs across office, lab, and production areas
Troubleshoot and fix issues with building systems, equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure
Support lab and R&D teams with equipment moves, setups, and facility needs
Coordinate and escort vendors and contractors when specialized work is required
Spot problems early and fix or escalate them before they become bigger issues
Help keep facilities safe, organized, and operational
Pitch in on one-off projects and urgent fixes as they come up
Requirements
BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Structural Engineering
5+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in industrial or manufacturing (ground-up and/or retrofit)
Familiar with basic safety practices and facility compliance requirements
Experience working with HVAC, MEP systems, or process equipment
Owned general maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building systems
Experience with preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Experience working in an active lab or light industrial environment
Ability to travel (up to 50%) to various work sites

Design, deliver, and manage safety training programs, compliance calendars, and LMS for a high-automation manufacturing facility. Requires proven experience building safety training programs with zero compliance issues.
